JEFFREY LU

Associate

Jeffrey Lu is a research associate, working on various aspects of the energy transition from heating to transportation. He is involved with EPC providing research around investment theses. Jeff is also a Research Associate at Liebreich Associates, providing analysis for Michael Liebreich's keynotes and longer consulting reports. 
 

An engineer at heart, Jeffrey uses his experiences and interests in engineering, entrepreneurship, and finance to contribute to sustainable growth.

 

He has worked for the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA); advising member countries on the economic and technical feasibility of renewable energy and green hydrogen adoption, founded a social enterprise start-up (EcoFoodly), and worked as an mechanical engineer in the Australian energy sector at AGL Energy.

 

Jeffrey is a certified Policy Officer in European and International Organisations, a Title registered in the National Register of Professional Certifications (RNCP) on the Level I, European Qualifications Framework Level 7 and has a Master's degree in ‘Global Energy Transition and Governance’ from the Centre International de Formation Européene, an Erasmus+ funded institution. He has also received dual Bachelor's degrees from the University of New South Wales in Mechanical Engineering (Hons) and Commerce (Finance).
