EcoPragma is dedicated to the net zero transition. Our partners invest in companies that actually are making a difference measured by their contribution (Eco) and commercial acceleration (Pragma). While very early developments are crucial, we focus on companies that are already making a difference or will do over the next 5-10 years. In most cases our companies have commercially proven technology and revenue growing at an accelerating rate.

Our backgrounds also mean we are identifying the leading players in the digitisation of the core technologies for the net zero transition. While the first 2 waves have primarily been about the virtual economy, the net zero transition demands digitisation of the physical world. From agriculture to water, power generation to consumption, the lessons learned in the digitisation of media give great insight into this evolution.

1. Energy System

In the energy system, while some opportunities remain in low-carbon power generation technologies, Ecopragma focuses on technologies that support the integration of variable renewables – such as storage (electrical, thermal and chemical), demand response and smart upgrading of transmission and distribution.
